The Museum holdings of troglobitic crustacea, mainly crayfish, consists of the collections of L. R. Franz (FMNH) and B. D. Sutton and comprises one of the top two representations for the Florida members of this group. In addition, the crustacea collection of the University of Alabama State Museum of Natural History was deposited in the FSCA in 1988 and includes troglobitic, as well as epigean, crayfish from the southeastern US. A catalog of the Museum holdings of troglobitic crustacea is planned.
